ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Statement

Galaxy Alliance is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disability, in line with Australian accessibility expectations and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

LAST UPDATED: 2 JULY 2025

1. Our commitment

Galaxy Alliance Pty Ltd aims to provide an inclusive online experience. We recognise that accessible digital services support equal participation and align with our values as a workforce and facilities services provider operating across Australia.

We are guided by the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth), which makes it unlawful to discriminate against a person on the ground of disability in the provision of goods, services, and facilities, including online services, in certain circumstances.

2. Accessibility standard

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the widely recognised international standard referenced in Australian government digital guidance and accessibility policy.

WCAG is based on four principles: content should be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. Meeting Level AA helps ensure content is usable by more people, including those using assistive technologies.

3. Measures we have taken

Steps we take to improve accessibility include:

  • Using clear heading structure and readable typography across pages
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images where practicable
  • Designing forms with labels and error messaging to support completion
  • Maintaining sufficient colour contrast for text and interactive elements where possible
  • Ensuring keyboard access to primary navigation and interactive components
  • Supporting responsive layouts for different screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Respecting user preferences such as reduced motion where supported by the site

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known limitations may include:

  • Some third-party embedded content or external links may not meet our accessibility standards
  • Some older PDF or document downloads may not be fully accessible
  • Occasional contrast or focus visibility issues on complex visual components
  • Some decorative or background imagery may not have detailed text alternatives where they are purely decorative

We are working to identify and address accessibility barriers as part of ongoing website improvements.

5. Assistive technology compatibility

This website is designed to work with commonly used browsers and assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation. For the best experience, we recommend using an up-to-date version of your preferred browser.

6. Feedback and assistance

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website, or if you require information in an alternative format, please contact us. We welcome your feedback and will endeavour to respond promptly and work with you to provide reasonable assistance.
